Our History

Founded in 1846, Leamington Tennis Court Club is the oldest tennis club in the world. The club offers a range of high quality facilities, including both a real tennis and squash court, games rooms, an in-house physio, a well renowned dining room, available for member and guest hire, as well as a well stocked bar and card room. There is also a thriving golf society within the club which a number of members take advantage of. The club itself has a thriving membership of over 400 from across the world.

The club welcomes all levels of real tennis player from some of the best in the world, to players who have never picked up a racket. If you are new to the game be sure to have a look at our new member offer and be introduced to the game.

Club Facilities

Within the four walls are a real tennis court and a squash court – the club is home to all levels of racket sports enthusiasts who use these great facilities.

The club boasts a charming squash court, situated behind the real tennis court. This is free to use by the members, and has even been used for other racket sports like racquet ball, table tennis and even boxing classes.

There is a thriving card room at the club, common games include Bridge, Seven and a half as well as other games such as backgammon.
